Étienne Artigau, iREx researcher on the College of Montreal, received the 2nd prize for excellent analysis achievements of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et Applied sciences (FRQNT).
This award acknowledges his contribution as a analysis skilled, notably his contribution to analysis in astrophysics and the coaching of younger researchers.
A specialist in brown dwarfs, exoplanets and astronomical devices, Étienne acquired his PhD in astrophysics from the College of Montreal in 2006. After a couple of years on the Gemini Observatory in Chile, Étienne returned to the College of Montreal in 2009 as a researcher, the place he actively participated in a number of initiatives of the Observatoire du Mont-Mégantic.
